Hi,

Migraine headaches if comes this frequently need prophylaxis treatment. To avoid having the headache we recommend many drugs. The first line is propranolol or topiramate. But these are to be prescribed by your doctor and to be taken daily.

These drugs work to stop having the headaches. However, if you have a headache, we use NSAIDs and triptans for 1 or 2 days to relieve the attack. Discuss these options with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
